Who Are We?
Crabtree automotive is a second generation, independent automotive service facility.
Established in 1979 in the little town of Crabtree, Oregon. Tim and Paula worked very hard for their small farming community until they decided it was time to move to Albany to serve a bigger community. They saw a need for an independent family-owned auto shop that people could trust their vehicles to.
Devon, Tim's son on the left, has been a mechanic since he could lift a wrench! He started sweeping floors and now owns the business. He has worked every position which gives him the ability to understand each employee's needs. Now he is helping grow young men and women that have the desire to be great leaders in the automotive industry. Our commitment to our community drives us to always be learning and growing our skills to bring the best knowledge and technology to our community while training up the next generation.
Crabtree Automotive has grown from just 5 employees to now employing over 20, one of those original 5 is still with us today! Our friendly team is always training to be the best they can be in knowledge and skill and to always be learning new technology and processes. Our technicians are either master-certified technicians or are in the process of becoming certified. In 2020 we added tires to our list of services as a convenience for our customers.
Crabtree Auto works on any make and model of vehicle including hybrid vehicles. Providing our customers with a clear picture of the health of their vehicle is very important to us which is why we adopted the digital vehicle inspection pretty early on. Knowing what is needed in the future to keep their vehicle safe and reliable is our greatest concern. This allows the customer to make the best decision financially with all the information about how to best repair and maintain their vehicle. Our team works very hard to change the reputation that automotive shops have created in the past.
We want you to feel welcomed and to leave knowing more about your vehicle. Our technicians are always happy to show to you and explain as best as they can so you leave with a new understanding.
