Avoid if you can. I told them I had engine trouble. They checked the code, told me to go to the dealership, and charged me $250. Why did you check what I didn't ask you to and charge me so much for it? Used to be a place I'd recommend. Not anymore. And you made it sound like I just needed to get it to the dealership. I get it all the way there and they tell me I need to bring it back in August. What the hell guys. Now I need to get it back home and back there again. With a blown engine. What's the opposite of going the extra mile? What did I pay you for? To tell me I could use new wipers? Ridiculous

All the folks at Crabtree are amazing and caring folks. I've been coming to them for quite a few years now and am always amazed at their dedication to go beyond an outstanding job. I'm also VERY impressed with the shuttle driver Clay, he is by far the most sincere and wonderful person who you can tell loves their job. Way to go Clay! Shout out to ya'll.

Great place to go for vehicle problems and maint

I DO NOT recommend to bring your vehicle to this shop. My mom spent over 5000 dollars in service for ruff idling and sensor. Her car now is blowing thick white smoke out and they want us to pay more money. The vehicle is still running ruff and is not drivable after all that money spent.

In July 2023 I needed help for my steering wheel. I was from out of town visiting my critically ill brother. I called on Sunday. Your messaging system gave me false hope. When I came to your service first thing Monday morning and explained to you my problem, you had no idea what I was talking about. You said maybe you could see me on Friday! No, your answering system nor your people were helpful at all.

We sincerely apologize for the experience you had with our service in July 2023. We understand how stressful it must have been, especially while dealing with a critically ill family member. We are deeply sorry for the frustration that the you had dealing with the system that was in place last year. We are always trying to find new products that help improve our customer service experience. We genuinely hope your brother is doing better. Had some routine maintenance done here. They provided more information than I'd ever received from any shop. A bunch of photos, and evidence of what they had done (or planned to do, with my approval). I don't plan to sell this vehicle, but I'd seriously consider using them as my only shop solely because of the records they provide. Being able to provide these records to a prospective buyer would definitely add value. When I was considering what to do and what not to do there was no pressure to make a decision, just "we recommend this, but none of this is urgent". Admittedly a lot of that has to do with what the vehicle needed, but they were honest about it. I recently received an advertising email from them, but it had been a couple of months since visiting and I'd never opted out. This seems like a reasonable timing to me. I'll be moving out of town, but I'm seriously considering driving back to Albany just to continue having Crabtree service my vehicle. It was that good of an experience.
