My wife had a door that wouldn’t open and they charged us around $950 after warranty. Because they took the door panel off they wouldn’t release it to us without payment so I could take it somewhere else. We ended up having a full engine and turbo replaced at Kiefer Nissan under warranty for no cost but the cost of the oil change and some gaskets which was $200 total. Crabtree is the worst. Not honest in any way. If you go make sure to get a quote at a couple other shops and don’t let them take anything apart.
Franco, So upon reviewing the last time you were in December of 2021 we do see that you came in for an issue with your rear door stuck shut but also asked us to diagnose your sunroof cover that would not close all the way. So the $946.32 was the total of both being diagnosed and repaired. If you look on your repair order the note states that your extended warranty covered $586.69 of the door repair. So your credit card was ran for $359.63. It is industry standard to not allow the vehicle to leave until the repairs have been paid. We apologize that your extended warranty company took so long to pay on the bill. We apologize that you apparently walked away frustrated from your interaction with us. We always try to make sure we communicate everything before the work is completed. So if we dropped the ball somewhere we apologize. -Lisa C., Manager
